We Offer a Variety of Peels for Skin Rejuvenation

In the past few years, chemical peels have been growing in popularity. More and more people are opting for these treatments to reverse the signs of aging. Chemical peeling essentially is a cosmetic procedure that accelerates the process of skin exfoliation with the use of chemicals. This results in your skin having a healthy glow and a more even complexion.

Chemical peels are used to solve skin issues like fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and uneven skin tone. These issues form due to factors like the aging process, overexposure to the sun, and scarring caused by acne.

There are multiple chemical peels available in different strengths. Each peel is composed of a unique blend of chemicals designed to treat specific skin issues.

We offer three types of skin peels: the Rejuvenize Peel, the Illuminize Peel, and the Vitalize Peel. All of them can help you get a clearer and brighter complexion and even out your skin tone. Let’s look at each one in detail.

Illuminize Peel

This is a non-invasive chemical peel that uses the latest alpha-hydroxy acids, along with phytic acid. It also makes use of common peeling agents like salicylic acid. Together, all these ingredients help to rejuvenate your skin with minimal irritation.

This peel is known to help enhance your skin’s glow and make it look younger. It also improves the texture and color of your skin with very little downtime required.

This peel is usually recommended for people who are coming in for a chemical peel for the first time. Many people who want a gentle peel also find this to be the best option. It leads to almost no visible peeling.

Vitalize Peel

This peel is one of the most popularly used skin peels, as it suits almost all skin types. It contains a blend of proprietary ingredients that work together to rejuvenate your skin and make it look younger.

Many patients see a visible difference in their skin after a single session. If you continue to come in for further treatment sessions, you can achieve optimum results.

The Vitalize Peel uses a combination of ingredients like resorcinol and salicylic, retinoic, and lactic acid to give you dramatic results. It helps stimulate the production of collagen and thus improves your pigmentation and removes acne, signs of melasma, and signs of aging. Your skin appears younger, softer, and more even.

And for the DON’Ts:

  • After verifying with your provider, stop taking any blood thinning medications/supplements 3 days prior to treatment. These include: Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, fish oils, and multivitamins.
  • Don’t drink alcohol for at least 2-days before your treatment. The blood-thinning effects of alcohol may cause you to bruise. Red wine is usually the culprit!
  • Avoid exercise the day of your appointment. This could cause more swelling and potentially affect the outcome of your treatment.

Rejuvenize Peel

The Rejuvenize Peel is one of the more intense chemical peels. It is suitable only for certain skin types. It can be administered only if the concerned patient has been able to get a Vitalize Peel session without any complications. Otherwise, a physician’s consent is needed to opt for this peel.

The Rejuvenize Peel uses a combination of strong and powerful ingredients like lactic acid, panthenol, and resorcinol. This is then used in conjunction with a retinol solution. These help to dramatically improve the appearance of your skin and make you look visibly younger.

The procedure takes anywhere between 25 minutes to half an hour per session. This is the actual peel application time. The overall session usually lasts for an hour; during this, you can discuss the procedure, ask any questions you may have, and clarify what has to be done as post-procedure care.

The procedure is not too uncomfortable, but it depends on each individual’s tolerance. Many patients have reported mild tingling or burning sensations during the actual application process. A fan is usually used to help minimize discomfort. The uncomfortable sensation usually subsides after a while.
