Getting To Know Lead Certified Medical Assistant & CoolSculpting Technician, Raina Kehoe
We recently had a chance to sit down with Raina Kehoe, who is PUR Skin Clinic’s Lead Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified CoolSculpting Technician. Raina has been working in the medical and cosmetic dermatology field for over the last 14 years, with the last three years spent serving patients at PUR. You might recognize Raina from one of our recent videos featuring CoolSculpting, the number one, non-invasive fat reduction treatment that literally freezes away body fat. In this video, Raina explains all about what CoolSculpting is, how it works, what areas of the body CoolSculpting treats, how long treatments are, who’s a good candidate for CoolSculpting and also discusses the difference between CoolSculpting and liposuction.
We wanted to get to know Raina beyond all of amazing, results-driven work she does in the treatment room at PUR Skin Clinic with her patients. We recently had a chance to sit down with Raina and asked her a few questions about why she loves most about working at PUR, her favorite skincare products, the PUR treatments she likes to receive herself and where we’d find her when she’s not in the treatment room at PUR. Here’s what she had to say.
What brought you to PUR Skin Clinic?
I was searching for an award winning, five-star team to join and found it here with PUR.
What do you love most about working at PUR Skin Clinic?
I love our team commitment to continued growth and excellence. It makes me feel good and inspires me professionally and personally when patients love the results we’re able to help them achieve with our various treatments and services.
What do you love most about performing CoolSculpting and CoolTone treatments on patients?
My favorite part about doing a CoolSculpting and/or CoolTone treatment is the look on a patient’s face when I show them their before and after photos. Often times results from treatments like these can take an average of up to three months. Before and after photos are a great way to track a patient’s results. It warms my heart when patients leave our clinic smiling and loving their body.
What are three words your friends and coworkers would use to describe you?
Loyal, driven and honest
Describe your patient care style
I’d describe my patient care style as being caring, honest and results-driven. It’s an honor when patients trust me with their bodies and desired results.
What is your skincare product must-have?
I have FOUR must-have skincare product favorites: SkinMedica Illuminating Eye Cream, Elta MD Foaming Wash and Elta MD AM Therapy and iS Clinical Brightening Complex.
What is your favorite treatment at PUR Skin Clinic and why?
I love our 2940 full ablative laser! I like to go big with my laser treatments and this laser delivers, I have a lot of sun damage that I’m still trying treat from my younger years.
When you’re not at PUR Skin Clinic, how do you like to spend your time?
You can find me at the river, in the mountains and somewhere in the dirt…wearing sunscreen of course!
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was the senior class Prom Queen at my high school.
