Spider Veins

Spider veins are a common condition that affect many adults. Spider veins are clusters of tiny blood vessels that develop close to the surface of the skin. They are often red, blue, or purple and they often have the appearance of a spiderweb. These vessels, which affect women more often than men, appear most commonly on the legs and become more prevalent with age. Spider veins often cause no symptoms or signs other than their undesirable cosmetic appearance.
