KATE FRAZIER, BSN, RN, CCRN
For nearly a decade, Kate Frazier, BSN, RN, CCRN, has been an active member of our medical community. From a young age, Kate was intrigued with the scientific advancement and innovation of medicine. She began her career as a nursing assistant in a local hospital while she was attending the University of Washington receiving her BS in Health Information Management from the School of Public Health. Kate quickly decided she’d rather provide direct patient care and step away from the desk; therefore, continued her education at Seattle University earning her BS in Nursing. Kate graduated from both programs Magna Cum Laude and is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Kate has spent her nursing career specializing in critical care at Harborview Medical Center in the Trauma Surgical ICU. She worked closely with various surgical specialties including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialists and experts in Plastic and Facial Reconstruction.
Kate has always had a passion for the beauty industry and everything it has to offer. After 8 years of critical care nursing, it was time to leap into the field of aesthetics! Kate received her certification for injectables in March of 2021. She has shown dedication to her practice by shadowing various industry leaders and gaining a strong knowledge base of the aesthetic industry. Kate’s goal with each of her patients is to help them feel confident and beautiful within their own skin. She collaborates with her patients at each phase of their aesthetic journey in order to reach their desired outcomes. Kate takes a very natural approach to refine her patient’s true selves.
Proudest career moment
My proudest career moment was taking the leap and pursing the field of Aesthetics! After working at the highest level of critical care during a pandemic, I decided I wanted to make people feel great about themselves!
When I’m not at Pūr
I’m either at the gym with my husband, walking our husky named Axel around the neighborhood, or finding a project around the house.
On my nightstand
Always a bottle of water and the current book I’m reading.
Favorite skin challenge
Those pesky fine lines and wrinkles! I love the instant gratification that is made with fillers. They are great to lift, contour, define, and balance the face. I also enjoy seeing my Botox clients at their 2-week follow-up to see the result of their treatment.
Watching a new show on Netflix while eating popcorn drenched in butter!
I’ll cry if I’m out of
SkinMedica’s HA5! It’s perfect for a hydration boost and gives you that healthy glow. Also, my retinol, it has done wonders for my skin texture.
The product I always reach for
Botox, botox, botox! Aging is a part of life, but let’s prevent our faces from looking like we are.
We wanted to get to know Raina beyond all of amazing, results-driven work she does in the treatment room at PUR Skin Clinic with her patients. We recently had a chance to sit down with Raina and asked her a few questions about why she loves most about working at PUR, her favorite skincare products, the PUR treatments she likes to receive herself and where we’d find her when she’s not in the treatment room at PUR. Here’s what she had to say.
