Meet Denice Schwind, PA-C
The founder and brains behind the beauty at Pūr, Denice is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and brings with her almost two decades of advanced medical and cosmetic dermatology experience (including a national ranking as faculty trainer for Allergan, the manufacturer of BOTOX Cosmetic and Juvederm dermal fillers). She’s passionate about great skin–obsessed, actually–and makes it her mission to create an experience at Pūr Skin Clinic that exceeds your expectations at every single visit.
Proudest career moment: Being voted "Top Dermatology Physician Assistant" by my medical peers in Seattle Metropolitan magazine 2015 & 2016. Over 1,500 Providers were asked, “If you or a loved one needed medical care, whom would you choose?” I’m very humbled by this honor.
When I’m not at Pūr: I’m spending time with family and friends, traveling, or hiking with my dogs, Max and Bella. My other passion is local and international volunteering; giving back is my joy.
On my nightstand: A sign my Mom gave me with a quote by Elsie De Wolfe, that reads, “I am going to make everything around me beautiful–that will be my life.”
Favorite skin challenge: Treating acne and acne scars, because patients get a huge boost to their self-esteem and love the results.
Guilty pleasure: The Pūr Infusion Facial. It’s 90 minutes of anti-aging heaven and includes a diamond-tip microdermabrasion treatment. I walk out glowing.
I’ll cry if I’m out of: Sunscreen. When I grew up, we used baby oil and didn’t have a clue about the damage we were doing to our skin.
The product I always reach for: Botox, of course!
Pūr Skin Clinic’s founder, Denice Schwind, named Top Dermatology Physician Assistant in Seattle Met Magazine’s 2015 and 2016 TOP DOCTOR Award Survey.
