As part of the normal aging process, we lose volume in our face and deeper wrinkles and folds start to form. Replacing this lost volume can be the first step to restoring your youthful appearance. By strategically placing dermal fillers in areas of volume depletion, you can retain your refreshed and youthful face.
There are many options when it comes to the types of dermal fillers that can be used to customize each individual’s cosmetic goals. Pūr Skin Clinic is excited to announce that patients now have another great option to consider as the FDA just approved a brand new filler: Juvederm Vollure XC.
What Is Juvederm Vollure
Juvederm Vollure is a next-generation dermal filler designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of our patients. It is an injectable dermal filler comprised of Hyaluronic Acid that is FDA indicated for the treatment of moderate to deep facial folds, including the nasolabial folds. Nasolabial folds, also called laugh lines, are the depressed lines that extend from the nose to the corners of the mouth and tend to get deeper as we age. Juvederm Vollure is considered a next-generation hyaluronic acid filler not only because of its enhanced, more natural-looking results but most notably, its longer duration.
Why Juvederm Vollure
What makes Juvederm Vollure unique is that the results regularly last 18 months or longer, which is about 50% longer than most other dermal fillers. Juvederm Vollure is formulated with Allergan’s Vycross technology, which blends different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, contributing to the product’s longer duration.
As we are seeing the number of patients seeking dermal filler treatments continues to grow, we are pleased that the research and development of new products and techniques has also followed that same trend, with a full range of products that will allow for tailoring of treatments based on specific needs and concerns of the patient.
