DENICE SCHWIND, PA-C
Pūr Skin Clinic’s founder, Denice Schwind, named Top Dermatology Physician Assistant in Seattle Met Magazine’s 2015 and 2016 TOP DOCTOR Award Survey. Denice Schwind was one of the medical providers in the Seattle area named to the list, out of 11,743 who were nominated by their peers and then voted on by 1,500 providers, who were asked “If you or a loved one needed medical care, whom would you choose?”
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Board Certification #1046414
The founder and brains behind the beauty at Pūr, Denice is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and brings with her almost two decades of advanced medical and cosmetic dermatology experience (including a national ranking as faculty trainer for Allergan, the manufacturer of BOTOX Cosmetic and Juvederm dermal fillers). She’s passionate about great skin–obsessed, actually–and makes it her mission to create an experience at Pūr Skin Clinic that exceeds your expectations at every single visit.
Proudest career moment
Being voted “Top Dermatology Physician Assistant” by my medical peers in Seattle Metropolitan magazine 2015 & 2016. Over 1,500 Providers were asked, “If you or a loved one needed medical care, whom would you choose?” I’m very humbled by this honor.
When I’m not at Pūr
I’m spending time with family and friends, traveling, or hiking with my dogs, Max and Bella. My other passion is local and international volunteering; giving back is my joy.
On my nightstand
A sign my Mom gave me with a quote by Elsie De Wolfe, that reads, “I am going to make everything around me beautiful–that will be my life.”
Favorite skin challenge
Treating acne and acne scars, because patients get a huge boost to their self-esteem and love the results.
The Pūr Infusion Facial. It’s 90 minutes of anti-aging heaven and includes a diamond-tip microdermabrasion treatment. I walk out glowing.
I’ll cry if I’m out of
Sunscreen. When I grew up, we used baby oil and didn’t have a clue about the damage we were doing to our skin.
The product I always reach for
Botox, of course!
Love this place! I have had the best Botox treatment ever administered by Denice and I’ve had microdermabrasion that was perfect for my sensitive skin. I’ve sent two of my friends there. I highly recommend PUR.
Denice has been wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and experienced in her field of work. She was able to provide me with answers to my concerns. Overall it has been a wonderful experience for me as I knew that I was in good hands. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Denice was highly recommended by a friend 10 years older than me. My friend looks beautiful while also natural and not like she’s “trying” to look younger. Denice listens to my priorities each time I see her and works very carefully to fulfill them. I consider Denice a tool in my beauty toolbox, like workouts and eating well. With her help, I feel more beautiful than ever!
