STAFF SKIN CARE ROUTINES
One of the many reasons I specialized in Cosmetic Dermatology is my passion for skincare! Prior to my education, my drawers were overflowing with every over-the-counter skincare product I could find! The good news…once I learned what actually makes a difference in our skin, I realized skincare does not have to be expensive or too complicated. Having acne prone, aging, rosacea, AND sensitive skin, my skincare products are medical grade and target each concern.
In the morning I wash my face with iS Clinical Cleansing Complex and always use my Clarisonic first thing. I then apply iS Clinical Super Serum Advance which contains L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), copper tripeptide growth factor and hydrating hyaluronic acids, protecting my skin from UV damage. For light moisture and instant anti-aging benefits I then apply iS Clinical Youth Complex to help stimulate the appearance of collagen, reducing fine lines and wrinkles. I also apply iS Clinical Youth Eye to smooth and hydrate the sensitive skin on the upper and lower lids. An important area to treat, starting in our 40’s is the neck. iS clinical came out with the perfect product, iS Clinical Neck Perfect last year and I am in love! My favorite sunscreen is iS Clinical Eclipse SPF 50 Perfectint Suncreen for full UVA/UVB coverage and a nice tint for the day!
In the evening, I always wash my face before heading to bed. I use iS Cleansing Complex with my Clarisonic for gentle removal of makeup, etc from the day. Once my skin is completely dry, I apply SkinMedica Retinol Complex to target my acne prone skin along with anti-aging components. If my skin is feeling dehydrated from the day I love the feel of SkinMedica HA5 Hydrator which features 5 different forms of Hylauronic Acid to plump and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I top it off with iS Clinical Neck Perfect which helps lift and firm with powerful alpha hydroxy acids and antioxidants.
My morning and evening routine takes me less than 5 minutes each and is an important part of maintaining healthy glowing skin!
